Kareri Lake is situated at Kangra District .It is 3000 Meter above the sea level and at Dhalagarh hills . IF you want to go to Kareri you will have to go bby bus through Maedolganj . Bhagsunag temple and bhagso shower is in the way from Dharamshala in Himanchal . Travelling is very tired some . Near the lake some tants are there where food is available . When you come out of Kareri Lake you will get a pagdandi which is very difficult to find but it goes till the lake . In the way there is a place Jammu goth . Before three kilometer from jammu goth the way becomes the bank . In front of it huge mountains are there . These are Dholdar Parvat Mala . Dhramshala and Macdodganj are called cheranpunji of himalyas . It rains and hains oftenly in these places . To go to Karari Lake you will firstly have to go to Dhramshala . You will get the bus for Ghera . Then you will have to go on foot from Ghera to Kareri .
